Frequently Asked Questions about parents weekend
I understand the Parent Program doesn’t
have any more tickets to the football game, but I still
want to go. How can I get a ticket?
Unfortunately, there are no more tickets available for the game on October 10.
I have a senior, but I didn’t hear about
the Gold Packages. Can I still get a ticket?
Gold package options and priority sales were promoted
in parent e-mails sent in May and June. They were also
promoted on the Parent Web site, and a notice was posted
on the Student Portal, advising
students to pass the information on to their parents.
The tickets sold quickly, and we have no more available.
What other games can I get tickets for?
Call the Gopher Ticket Office to see about single-game tickets on other weekends, 1-800-UGOPHER.
Is our student invited to watch the football game with us at Coffman Union? What about the Ice Cream Social?
Every attendee at the Coffman Theater game-viewing needs to purchase a Parents Weekend Package, which includes the game, bowling and billiards in the Coffman game room, snacks at Coffman, discount cards, and reservations for requested workshops. Each package also includes one Ice Cream Social ticket, with one Ice Cream Social student ticket per family.
Can our younger daughter or son attend Parents Weekend with us? Is there a discount rate for children?
Brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends can attend Parents Weekend. You must buy a weekend package for each person. Because the cost of the package is set as low as possible for all participants, we do not have a discount rate for children.
What if I only want to go to the Ice Cream Social?
To get a ticket for the Ice Cream Social, you must buy a Parents Weekend Package.
Note: No refunds are available on Parents Weekend Packages. |
